Poem:

The king surveyed his wide domain
within it was a lonesome tree
the lone tree gave to lone fruit
once a year.

And the King came to collect the fruit
once a year
as a tax from the tree
for living under his domain.

The day the king knew he would die
he came to the tree to take some shade
but the king could not own the shade
and soon he became so frustrated
that he forgot to die.

The the sun set and all was shade and
he thought, "This is all for me."
He sat and he dozed and he dreamt
of the tree's embrace.
And as the day drew near,
he disappeared.
